Since graduating from QUT with Honors in 1995, Andrew has worked in private practice on the Gold Coast.
He is the owner and senior optometrist at Envision Optical in Burleigh Waters and Tweed Heads. His professional passion is providing quality vision and eye health outcomes to his patients.
Andrew has had a special interest in improving outcomes for his dry eyes patients for the last 20 years. As a therapeutic optometrist, Andrew prescribes medications for dry eye treatment including steroids and cyclosporin.
He introduced meibomian gland expression therapy to his clinic in 2012, IPL for dry eyes in 2015, and Lipiflow therapy in 2020.
As a member of the Ocular Nutrition and Wellness Society, Andrew is a firm believer in the role of nutrition in a preventative approach to managing dry eyes.
Andrew is also a CCLSA, OSO, SLES and IKA member.
